Logic is a foreign concept to the Cheap Wankers. Cost cutting is all their care about, and if that means getting rid of their successful shows, then so be it.
Wonder how long before the Cheap Wankers go bankrupt?
I'd say 4-5 years tops. They're always picking up non American shows too that are cheaper than making their own. It sure sounds like they'll only have 3 scripted shows on the network. Walker, All American and likely Gotham Knights if S&L is too expensive for the Cheap CW.

Read rumours CW may pick up Gotham Knights over S&L because it's much cheaper to make. S&L's only chance to survive could be moving to streaming.
Trouble is, moving to streaming would put S&L out of reach of many of its viewers.
But the Cheap Wankers only care about spending as little money as possible. And since they seem determined to scuttle all their Vancouver filmed shows, S&L could be on the chopping block, unfortunately.
I've said it before, and now I say it again, this sale should have been blocked. In Canada, we have the CRTC, a government body. While it rarely does so, it does have the power to block such sales. The U.S. needs such a body, IMO. They could have stopped this ill advised sale.

Well from what James Gunn said a few months ago it seems like S&L was only going to get one more season anyway due to his reboot plans, so if it does get saved it would likely only get the one season on Max anyway.
The Cheap Wankers going bankrupt....I would like to see that.

It would be poetic justice. The Cheap Wankers save themselves right into bankruptcy.

Good news, Riverdale fans. While the show is still filming, all their scripts were finished before the writer's strike started, so the show will not be affected.
Granted that means the scripts will have to be filmed as is (no rewrites allowed), but I don't think they'll be any problems.

Fantastic news! Final season can end no issues.

That's great. It'll get an actual ending and not be interrupted by the strike. You can bet if it was stopped because of the strike, the new CW suits would just cancel it and not care to let it finish. At least now it will wrap up.

You're probably right, Katie.
The reason being is that Riverdale is (or was) filmed in Vancouver. And the Cheap Wankers have made it abundantly clear that they want nothing more to do with that city.

Yeah, Katie has a point.
It seems they want to distance themselves from the city for good.

It seems they want to distance themselves from the city for good.
With the cancellation of Kung Fu, S&L is now the last CW show filmed there.

You're right. I'm shocked. Another reason they may cut S&L.
