Oops, Colton. I hope these discussions are not too spoilery for Jennifer. Maybe these should be posted in our SDOW Road Map and main plots for the series thread.

Agreed.
I've just moved them there.

I decided to watch it Sunday but will go in with an open mind. Yeah, it really might be fun to be inspired by it for stories on SDOW. Like you Sunday. I prefer us sticking to the lore that John doesn't know about hunting until after Mary died. But I didn't think about it like that but you're right about Missouri and Mary knowing each other. That could open the door for us possibly doing some flashback episodes if they fit. I know the Winchesters are going to FINALLY show us John's mother. She was meant to appear on the show in an episode, but could not figure out how. They thought about the actress Louise Fletcher would have been the right actress for the role of Millie. As Fletcher is over 80 years old, this casting choice indicates that Millie's actress would have played an aged version of the character in the present day had an episode with her in it. Maybe we'll get to do that. Our John is still alive currently. So there's every chance that she could reconnect with son and grandsons. Nice. Looks like there's a few of us that will then. I do like the idea of us figuring out how to use her. Perhaps when John dies that could be what draws her back in. Maybe she really hated the idea of John becoming a hunter after Mary's death. Maybe its John who confessed that Mary was one too to his mother. Maybe that's where they stopped talking to each other for years. And she already had another son, we talked about John having a brother who became a Men of Letter or joined the British ones to investigate their fathers disappearance. I do like these ideas. Lots of interesting ideas. Who knows what the Wincesters might inspire.

That is no longer possible, as she died a couple of weeks back.

WOW! R.I.P. I'm sure we'll find someone else to play her if we use her.

I'm sure we'll have fun casting her with someone. The fun of a virtual series, we won't need to worry about said actor being available for the show.

That's what I love about doing a virtual series.
Having watched the Winchesters Pilot. I can definitely see some inspiration forming for flashback episodes in SDOW. Possibly told from John's POV and or Missouri's if our series we've had her run into Mary before once or twice.

I can too. The Men of Letters stuff in particular. Since we've talked about later on in our series focusing on that mystery of what happened to John's father or brother going to find him.
Even if the show didn't, I love these two new friends Mary and John have made especially Carlos. Depending where the prequel goes with them, It could be fun for Dean and Sam to run into older versions of them years later.

Even if they die on the show, that doesn't mean they die here.
This isn't the canon SPN world, after all

It sure is. Lots we can do. For now, I might wait to see how the season plays out before I think of more ideas for flashbacks for SDOW. But I'm interested in where it goes. Should be fun for us.
I'm really interested in the new characters. I'm sure we could have fun casting adult versions of them. If we find ideas.
