Wis I could say I was surprised, but I'm not. The Cheap Wankers have been bleeding this show dry, cutting it's budget more and more. And now they've struck the final blow.
With S&L gone, Walker will be the last CW show we have ere.
The only silver lining is that the back-at-work writers will use the time, while the actors are still out, to give us a good finale.

Mmh, not good at all. I might get really stuck in the past.

Sucks but at least they know ahead of time.
Lol seems Superman shiws never go beyond 4 seasons (Smallville not counting since it was before Superman). The 50s Superman and L&C in the 90s both ran 4 seasons.
Sounds like it'll end before DC reboots Superman on the movie screen.
If CW was still running like it did before they got cheap it would've lasted many seasons 💯.

Not surprised one bit. We just have Walker and I doubt that'll last beyond Season 4 or 5 tops.
End of an era. DC on TV is dead after 2024 and we'll be seeing the new DC rebrand on the movie screen in 2025 with a new reboot universe. Hate to say but I don't think we'll get any more DC shows on television for a long while. 😕

Once the CW became the Cheap Wankers, it was just a matter of time. This show was lucky to survive the Great Purge last year (that felled both Batwoman and Legends). Let's hope we get a good finale.

I'm sad S&L will be ending but not surprised by the way things are heading.
At least the cast and crew know what's happening ahead of time.
Hopefully, the show has a good finale.
The CW network will most likely disband either by the end of the year or next of course.
Streaming is the future for the time being which isn't also surprising seeing how television will probably end up like in Back To The Future Part 2 with loads of channels and no remote controls.
With DVDs on their way out, hardcore fans will try and keep as many as they can the same when VHS ended before they stop making them completely and I will put my hand up and say I haven't purchased a DVD in ages but then I haven't watched TV like I should too obviously.
YouTube Netflix and Disney Plus are what I see more of at the minute with the first being over the other two themselves.

The sale of the CW should have been stopped.

Streaming is the only way I can see the shows.

If this keeps up, there won't be any shows left for us to discuss

I was talking about this board. Most of the shows we discussed here are already gone.
Wen S&L goes, that'll leave only Walker.

Oh boy, that's quite true. We'd need new material.

I'm sad its coming to an end but also not surprised.
At least 4 seasons is a nice, quick amount of episodes to rewatch in the future when I need a comfy show to enjoy and relax to.
James Gunn's new DC reboot includes new shows I believe, so maybe once they begin we could give those a try and discuss? If not well I'm sure we'll find something.

I dropped the Cheap Wankers from my cable package (S&L and Walker are available on Canadian channels).
No regrets.

If the CW didn't go through new management and James Gunn's new DC reboot wasn't set-up, I'm sure S&L would've easily gotten 6-7 seasons. I'm just glad we'll get an ending. I might check them out. But a hard pass if they reboot a new Arrow, Supergirl, Flash shows. I've already gone through them and it's too soon to do them again. But like you said, we'll find something to watch or even re-watch classic shows here.
