Got the automatic hire car today which was swapped over with the manual one. Is a Mercedes A-Class a lot bigger than my current vehicle that I will have to get used to.
Took it for a spin earlier before returning to work tomorrow.
My only concern is the school car park where I work breakfast club and lunchtime is quite narrow and so hope I can park up and drive out without damaging mine or someone else's car as I'd be liable for both if anything happened.
Hope my car is fixed and returned soon

A Mercedes? Wow, never drove one myself. Just Peugeot and Ford, I think and of course, Citroen, all kinds. Good luck with the measurement!

It's different in the vehicles started up with a button and not keys although the key locks and unlocks the door.
It has parking sensors and a rear camera too for reversing backwards somewhere or out of something then and finally sat nav for navigation too.

That's great to hear - with such equipment on board. I need my phone to navigate.

Me too in my Suzuki but my TomTom app on that is alright though I haven't used it yet since I've not needed to then.
Anyway had a phone call and email from Cinch which I couldn't respond to due to working but my car has been fixed so just need to arrange a time for that to come back obviously.
I rang and the lady said the man would contact me back in reply.
Explained I'd be leaving around 2:30 pm for my afternoon job which she made a note of for the gentlemen to ring before that.
Suffice it to say he didn't so will reply to the email saying I'm free tomorrow after 2 pm as am not working in the afternoon as the school I currently work at doesn't go back until Monday.
If nothing is done then it will have to be Saturday otherwise of course.

Wish you all the luck, Katherine, to get your car back. I'd need to move mine once again before the cold comes. Either tomorrow or on Sunday. Not much but still.

Could be but I got to know the classical TomTom navigation devices. My former boss still uses them.

I have this app play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tomtom.gplay.navapp. I paid £20 for a premium one-year subscription but also have an actual TomTom device as backup. Anyway, my car was due to be handed back yesterday. I explained in an email that could only be done after 2 pm as wasn't working but the person delivering the vehicle came earlier when I was working lunchtime so now they're coming between 8:30 and 10 am this morning. Had they come at the correct time stated they wouldn't need to today.

Ah yes, typical behavior. Well, you have your own car back now, right?

Yes, I have my own car back then which I used yesterday taking Mum and my sister food shopping.
Fingers crossed now other problems occur in the near future obviously.
