Latest update on Mum. She's still the same as before in that the back of her legs continues to hurt despite taking the prescribed medication.
We've booked another doctor's appointment for next Saturday at an out-of-weekday practice near our own one so will see what can be done then although I don't hold out on anything really.
In the meantime, she has been using her walking frame going up and down the lounge to the kitchen or walking around the block outside 3 times a day which she'll keep doing.
A bag which can attach to a wheelchair, four-wheel rollator, or walking frame has been bought so Mum can use that if on her own when shopping.
Two pushchair clips have also been delivered so Mum can use any small tote she has as well if she's not purchasing much then.
In terms of manoeuvrability, my friend managed to get a second walking frame from a charity shop took the front wheels off them and drilled two holes at the back which I attached to Mum's frame last night taking the others off and essentially making that a four-wheel rollator which we will try on the bus today seeing if she can go on that again without me in future if Mum wants to go out locally during the week whilst I'm at work.

You've been busy, Katherine. Hopefully it helps. My mom had this as well but we still had stairs to go up and she didn't want to move. *sighs*

Hope your mother feels better soon. *sigh* oh that's the worse Squad 51 with stairs. It's why my aunt and uncle love having a one story home, they think if anyone has walking issues or need a wheelchair, they'd have to sleep downstairs. It can be hard. They also think in case of a fire, its easier to escape. I hope things improve for her, Katherine.

Mum had another appointment with a doctor today since we went away as the pain in her legs still hasn't gone away although it's lessened slightly using the walking frame.
He wanted her to revisit Queens but I said no as they fought nothing last time and probably wouldn't again and we weren't gonna spend another near 24 hours there.
Mum was only prescribed more paracetamol as we have either Naproxen and Omepermole still left.
The last option is an MRI scan that we have to wait for the appointment letter and then go which we'll do and see what happens there.
It's now just a waiting game seeing what actually is wrong and if anything can be done obviously.

My Mom had and I also have to wear some compression stockings for the legs. Maybe this could help. Just a suggestion.
