I wonder what the new season will do with the ongoing problem of Howard and Raj. What I mean is that, for the last couple of seasons or so, Howard and Raj are continually being relegated to sub-plots that really have no connection to the main story.
Take the last season finale, for example. Howard and Raj could have been excised completely from that episode, and nothing substantial would have been missing. The main plot would still be basically the same (the dinner date in which Sheldon's mom and Leonard's dad seemingly hook up).
It seems clear to me that, with the Alpha Couples (Leonard and Penny, Sheldon and Amy) taking centre stage, there is really no room for Howard and Raj anymore. So the writers have to come up with these sub-plots just to give them something to do, even if it has no connection to the Leonard/Penny/Sheldon/Amy storyline.
I get the feeling that, if they could, the writers would drop Howard and Raj from the show completely and just keep the aforementioned Alpha Couples.

But what about Bernedette being pregnant won't that give Howard something to focus on next season?
Hate it when main characters are reduced to sub ones I mean they're part of the show so why do it in the first place?
Wouldn't Big Bangs ratings go down if producers chucked Howard and Raj then?

I know, but it's happening for some reason.
Did you see last season's finale (in which Leonard's scientist Dad, who believes in evolution, hooked up with Sheldon's Bible thumping Mom? It was a very funny episode.
However, as I said, Howard and Raj could have been removed entirely from the episode, and it wouldn't affect that storyline at all. This shows how much their characters have been shunted aside in recent years.
I honestly don't know. They have so little impact on the main plot (which usually involves Sheldon, Leonard, Penny, and Amy) these days, that their absence really won't have that much impact, IMO.

Howard and Raj were actually part of the main story this week. A welcome change.

That's good then.

Hopefully, this trend will continue. While I do like Amy and Bernadette, the four guys were part of the original cast, after all.
Surely, one can write scripts that include all the characters.

Exactly otherwise what's the point of the show then.

Tonight we have new living arrangements. Penny has moved in with Leonard. Sheldon and Amy have taken over Penny's old apartment.
I wonder if this will last.

I know it must fall under the Rule Of Funny, but the fact that the elevator in Sheldon and Leonard's building has been out of order for ten years now stretches my suspension of disbelief well beyond the breaking point.
This surely must violate many city and state ordinances and would most certainly not be allowed.
The landlord would have had it fixed long ago, and if said landlord refused to do so, they would have most likely been court ordered to do so, or face civil, or possibly, criminal charges.
I mean what if the building had tenants who were elderly or disabled? What are they supposed to do?
Funny is one thing, but this is just silly, IMO.

That is bad certainly. I wouldn't want to live there if I knew that'd happened.

Almost, it's quite correct. But how do I explain the minor mistakes? It's mainly in the speaking. We speak a bit softer some chains of letters but that's also hard to explain. Sorry!

The fact Amy sang Soft Kitty to him obviously speaks volumes for Sheldon anyway.

That's okay, Jana. You pretty much answered my question. Although you could tell that Amy was starting to get a bit irritated by Sheldon's requests for her to keep singing it in different languages

About time to.

YES! Amy said yes! Loved how Sheldon felt he had to clear it with Professor Hawking
