I'm more onto oldies (TV and music) but also some new series, depending on if they come across the ocean. As you know, I live(d) in certainly different circumstances growing up. I have a lot in common with Tim but can also connect partly with the younger generation. But definitely more oldie here!!

I've been playing Kingdom Hearts this week, one of my favorite gaming series, love it!

My interests are varied really as I like doing quite a lot of things which have grown up with me over the years obviously.
I watched a lot of TV when I was younger which wasn't good obviously but then I didn't get internet till I was 24-25 anyway and so never had much to do during the weeks other than see my school friends in the day and at the weekends.
Don't ask me to name what films or programmes I saw because there were so many I can't remember them all actually.
I was never into history when I was younger and didn't do well at it in school. Then my teacher told us to watch Pride and Prejudice starring Colin Firth as part of our GCSE course which I done and enjoyed actually as did my mum then which sparked my interest in it afterwards I guess.
It was then I starting watching more period dramas and historical films which I recorded of TV or bought DVD's and started reading classical novels.
Period wise I'd say my favourite eras are the tudor times, war of the roses and Edward/Richard III years. The stuarts, medievil and victorian England.
I've been to quite a few historical places in the UK ranging from Hampton Court to Leeds Castle and Eltham Palace and Osbourne House on the Isle Of Wight which was fantastic though future wise I'd like to do Kensington and Buckingham Palace which I haven't seen yet and Dover Castle to that are on my to do list of places to visit.
Ten Pen Bowling and going to the movies are another love for me which we have a cheap cinema in my area that sells £4 tickets and another one that's between £1-£2 more but you get a free game of bowling down the alley underneath if you show your film ticket although I don't do the latter much as I used to because my friend or I can download films of the net.
As some of you know I write stories also when the moment interests me and muse is ticking which right now consist of Charmed, Smallville and Supernatural ones on their own or intertwined together depending what's happening that started years after my father passed when I had self confidence issues and went on a course which got us thinking about certain interests we had and developing them writing fanfiction being one of mine which I hadn't done yet obviously and now enjoy.
I joined the Charmed Cafe in 2006 which I have been a member of since and enjoy talking about one of my favourite shows I loved watching.
In 2012 I discovered Doll Divine a website which has different games where you can create many characters of that I started doing concerning my stories which expanded to other websites from there and then onto Deviantart finally where I post my stories and doll pictures plus manips also (I can't draw to save my life) on and am a member of various different clubs which do competitions and model challenges that I partcipate in. One of my final interests is creating videos which I've done 10 of at the moment posting them online through my Youtube page and Dailymotion also which I joined recently based of Smallville, Charmed and Stargate Atlantis.

I'm also into history. All times period. Hence, I even studied history and so my knowledge is huge. If there is anything interesting about history, I'm onto it. Most of the time.

I've been to Osbourne house as well, it was beautiful, and the grounds were stunning. And the little tea shop there was nice as well if I remember.

That was one of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert's homes, if I'm correct.

Yes, it was Tim. It's where they holidayed during the summer and where Victoria went after Albert died.
The outside is much better looking than Buckingham Palace in my opinion actually although that's not to say the interiors rubbish which it isn't from what I've heard and seen which is what I'd like to look at someday as well as the gardens obviously.

A new rule has been added:
12. If you join the site and go six months without making your first post, your account will be terminated. We have no members-only subforums, so there's no point in registering if you're only going to lurk. Only register if you're actually going to join in discussions and contribute to the site.
Yesterday, we got a new member who has yet to introduce himself or even make a single post. People who join forums, yet never post or contribute to any discussions are called "Sleepers," and the old Glued to the Screen was plagued with these kinds of members.
There's literally no need to join the site if you have no intention of ever posting. We only want members who will enrich the site and add to discussions, not log in once and run away.
I'm going to give this new member a chance to make his first post, but he's gone if he remains silent after six months. I'm done with Sleepers.

This rule was my idea. I proposed it to Betty, and she agreed with it. A six month time period is plenty of time for a new member to post.
I've never seen the point in registering for a board, if you're never going to post. There are boards out there where it seems that 95% of the members are Sleepers.
As Betty said, all our forums can be seen by non-members, so if you just want to lurk, then lurk. Don't bother registering.

Due to the lack of interest, Tim and I have decided to cancel the Charmed 20th anniversary rewatch. Most people, understandably, want to focus on the reboot, and there's only so much that can be said about episodes most of us have already seen a million times.
The rewatch subforum will be deleted soon, but I wanted to get feedback from you all first.

Hope you all understand the reason behind this decision. I did make a thread about Something Wicca This Way Comes last Sunday, but it didn't get a single reply.
As Betty said, the reboot is the main thing now. The original series is just old news.

That's fine guys. We all know real life can get in the way plus with other shows coming back that people watch and like you said the reboot too members will probably focus on them then.

Yeah, that is what we figured.
And the revelations about Kernus and the fact that half the original cast hate the other half also no doubt put a damper on thing.

Well, I have watched the first episode and going to share my review now. Last weekend and Thanksgiving, I didn't get that chance.
But I think perhaps since you still have that 20th-anniversary thread still around, I'll just post in here. Maybe, it just doesn't need its own thread. If anyone wishes to watch when they can when they have time, maybe they can do so in one single thread.
