For me sometimes as well. Or just music. lol And then I might rewatch the show again to get some new inspiration again. That way it works for me.

Sometimes I see something that I didn't see before. That inspires me to write it down in a Fan Fiction.

The same with me too. I might have the television on in the background whilst I'm writing or maybe listening to music on my laptop or phone as I type which helps sometimes also.
Occasionally I might have an idea or ideas pop into my head and I will type or write those down for reference before I forget though mayn't come back to them sometime yet.

Sometimes I need the TV on in the background to take a nap.
My mother was the same way.
So, I guess that's why it also helps me write stories.

When I write Chosen Ones, and I don't know how to write a scene, I rewatch the charmed episode I need to watch. And it helps to visualize it better. Like I wanted to do a memory scene of what happened with Chris and Bianca, where they proposed, so I watched Chris Crossed to see how they did that scene.

Also. it is true that writers are not editors, because when I got to post my things, after I had written it, I noticed many typos, It's ridiculous, english is basically my primary language, and yet I still make grammar mistakes.

I've done that too.
The problem I have is when words are spelled correctly, but are the wrong ones ('their', instead of 'there', for example). Spell check is no help then

It's funny no matter what, I know it's till. But every time I write it out, it becomes til. lol.

That's funny for me as a foreigner and all. We had to learn it correctly. I had hard ten weeks!

One thing I noticed is that the Spell Check kept telling me that I got the words "colour" and "favour" wrong, when I knew I hadn't.
Then I realized that the American made Spell Check was listing the words as wrong because, as a Canadian, I added the U.

Indeed. I prefer the American English now since most of my readers are American.

Sol says she spell checks on her stuff too . But typos still remain. That’s why she made me her story editor now. Also I helped with some American English terms because of course I would be expert at English grammar than she is being English is not her native language. I termed myself also as the grammar police.

In case any of you are wondering who Sol is, she is the Admin of the Destined board, where I met bkhanh29 (I'm a Mod over there, where I go by the username RexAndHannah1).
Sol (short for Marisol) is Portuguese.
