Show what high hopes the CW has for this show. Let's hope they're right.

Look at all the women and POC in that picture. Exactly what I want to see in the writers room for this show. Very excited for the Halloween episode. A lot of Charmed fans are predictably crying that it'll be a "ripoff" of "All Halliwell's Eve," as if there's not an infinite number of storylines a Charmed Halloween episode could do. It'll especially be interesting if we also get a Christmas episode, as the original Charmed never had one. Loads of untapped potential there.

This bodes very well for the reboot.
Yeah, they could do an excellent Halloween show.
Yeah, Executive Meddling, on the part of the WB, screwed up their Christmas episode, A Paige From The Past (which is why we got all that Frankie/Lulu rubbish). Hopefully, the CW will leave them alone and let them make the show.

All these pics and tweets look great, so excited to see this now, and a proper Halloween episode? Count me in, I want it to be as cheesily Halloweeny as possible, I'm a sucker for holiday episodes.

I really doubt it will be a rip-off from "All Halliwell's Eve", which I admit I really love that episode. They won't be time-traveling into the past to see their ancestors, so how can they rip it off. It's just a Halloween episode for crying out loud. Halloween should be a staple of the reboot every season. I'd love a Christmas episode. The CW does those often now. And Sabrina was known for those holiday-themed episodes. I keep thinking of the series Grimm with what they did for their Christmas episodes. The only supernatural drama I remember they did so well with Christmas themed episodes. All these pics and tweets look great, so excited to see this now, and a proper Halloween episode? Count me in, I want it to be as cheesily Halloweeny as possible, I'm a sucker for holiday episodes. Me too. I hope they poke fun at the typical classical witches and come up with some scary episodes. This would be the perfect time to incorporate some fun stories, even come up with their own take on popular Halloween movies. Me too. Halloween is my favourite holiday.
Me too. Sabrina did these every season. It's too bad Charmed didn't do it every season. You would think a witch show would mean Halloween episodes every season.

Yeah, Executive Meddling, on the part of the WB, screwed up their Christmas episode, A Paige From The Past (which is why we got all that Frankie/Lulu rubbish). Hopefully, the CW will leave them alone and let them make the show. What truly killed Charmed's chances of ever doing a Christmas episode was the move to Sundays in S5. When that happened, the show stopped airing new episodes in December. Charmed really dropped the ball on holiday episodes, in general. We had to wait until S3 to even get a Halloween episode, and we didn't get another besides "Kill Billie Vol 1" in S8. And, besides that, the only other thing we got was a mediocre Valentine's Day episode in S2 ("Animal Pragmatism" ). Thanksgiving never even got a single episode, despite being a major American holiday. Why was Charmed so adverse to holiday episodes? Were there budget issues involved? Or, were the writers simply incapable of tying holidays into their storylines? I really doubt it will be a rip-off from "All Halliwell's Eve", which I admit I really love that episode. They won't be time-traveling into the past to see their ancestors, so how can they rip it off. It's just a Halloween episode for crying out loud. I keep thinking of the series Grimm with what they did for their Christmas episodes. The only supernatural drama I remember they did so well with Christmas themed episodes. Agreed. It's stupid for people to automatically assume that this will be an "All Halliwell's Eve" ripoff when they know NOTHING about the episode or its plot. Frankly, I think it's awesome that the reboot is jumping right into a Halloween episode in its first season, which is what the original Charmed should've done as well. Given the reboot sisters' Latina heritage, it'd be cool to have a Halloween episode based on Día de Muertos. Lots of great storytelling potential there.
