You're welcome. Correction, it's about baseball which isn't just a hit in Europe. Anyway, the Simons are hired by a family who wants their rich uncle to be protected during a baseball camp. The Japanese man named Nakamuto (if I got it right) just love the Americans and their baseball. The family catch the brothers by surprise and well, A.J. especially since his history with the Little League. They enter the camp with Rick as a coach and roommate to Nakamuto and A.J. as a player. As the week goes on, they have to save their client several times and A.J. has to roll his eyes often for his brother's antics. Yet with Abby's help they find out that their physician is a trained assassin and the guy's nephew want the man dead. They manage to save him and get one proud mother along. One pic only: Tomorrow then about a "Robin Hood" without an arrow and such.

I recognize that Asian actor in the middle. He did a lot of shows (he died in 2018).

Farewell, this episode was definitely a bow to the classic movies of the 1930/40ies era of Hollywood. Many references to Douglas Fairbanks, Errol Flynn and even an actor who looked like Bogey. Anyway, A.J.'s bank account got charged but he never bought anything, so to speak but thought his brother was responsible for this. Rick was innocent this time and A.J. went to the bank where he met an accountant named Marian and her boss Nottingham. Marian got fired and well, all three went to A.J.'s house but later on, Rick and A.J. could follow a trail which led them to a man named Robert Hood. He and A.J. fought with sticks and more. It looked more like a ballet, so the Simons met the "merry men" of this Hood. Later then, Robert and Marian met (again), because he was working at the same bank. As the Simons went to Abby, the Lt. also thought to be in a fairy tale at first. In the end, all got what they deserved and earned. Or ... they lived happily ever after. Two pics this time: But you can see well, how Mac and JP know each other after almost eight years of working together!! Anyway, the rest of the quotes I'll bring up after I'm through, I guess. Tomorrow then something about cockiness or that the boys have this trait from their Dad?!

Not really. A talk show with a guy named Harry lashes out on everything and everyone, even PIs and guess who he invited. The Simons. Watching this particular show with his Mom, A.J. is not happy with the outcome as his brother came in, saying he won a million dollars. Yeah, well, as it turned out soon it was a mistake and Rick got a toaster for real. Anyway, the talk show host Harry is threatened by someone unknown and oh wonder, he does hire the Simons. Quite not easy for them, all of them, their Mom included as they "park" the man there, again. Cecilia got on her own mind and let him know this, yet the guy appears even here and managed to hurt both a bit. As the brothers question the staff, they quickly find out that it must be one of them - and they are right. Harry could save his life on his own, yet make no changes at all. *sighs* Two pics this time (of the actor here): Of course, it's Jerry Orbach from "Law & Order" but I got to know him first with Dirty Dancing. Tomorrow then the "Lovesong of Abigail Marsh".

I remember Jerry Orbach from "Law & Order" as well as one of my mum's favourite television shows and like Jana know him first from Dirty Dancing also a favourite film of my mum's also.
Of course Jerry most likely was in quite a few '80s films and TV shows then.

I recognized Jerry right away. Law & Order is probably his best known role.

Oh well, the Simons argue again when A.J. says he's got a date by playing volleyball and the date turns out to be Abby a bit later. Within this time, the Simons got hired to find a missing brother by a guy named Ray McGuiness. As Abby walks in, he immediately gets attracted and well, they end up playing volleyball whereas the Simons begin their research. It gets not easier when they find out their client left out a little detail: He's an ex-con. Rick and A.J. speak with him about this, especially in regards to Abby and her work. At a fancy restaurant Ray and Abby got shot at and Abby almost freaks out at the station. The Simons find the brother named Stan Marchand and he turns out to be part of the mob. It gets ugly and all came to the rescue, just in time. Still, Abby and Ray must part and this is the end of the lovesong here. Two pics this time: Ah well, tomorrow then "The apple doesn't fall far from Rick" or Simon & Simon, Jr..

The guy in the bottom pic is Marc Singer. He was the lead in the original V series.

I remember him from the first Beastmaster movie as well. He was in other '80s films too although I can't remember all the names at the moment then.

I know him from "Beastmaster", also from the remake in the 1990ies. I think he also appeared there, yet I'm quite not sure. Well, the brothers are discussing again in their office when a teen appears, asking for their help. Matt got a letter with him and gives it to Rick who is left speechless after reading it. Matt's his son, yet A.J. quickly runs out and demands to find out what's going on. Needless to say, Rick goes through an emotional rollercoaster and needs all help he can help to keep his kid straight. At least, there's always his baby brother and A.J.'s comments are sometimes very accurate. Like father, like son. They manage to save the kid from a guy in L.A., yet when Melissa (Kay Lenz, again, btw) appeared, she told Rick the truth. Matt isn't his, yet both agree to go on a fishing trip. One pic only: Tomorrow then a "deadly cough" or Cloak of Danger. From what I read so far, it looks interesting. And one week to go now and S&S is over. Next Monday, October 25, it's time for the reunion movie!

Oh my, A.J. wrote a play based on a case they couldn't solve so far. He read it to his mother and brother and well, both are not agreeing with him, to put it mildly. At a little theatre it turns out to be a comedy instead of drama. It's not easy for those guys when the author and his family is involved. To A.J.'s horror, two people got killed during the rehearsal which makes it possible for Rick to play with. Yeah, right. Anyway, Abby and their police force also got involved and A.J. is at the end confronted with the real bad guy, the first husband of their case back then. Halleluja! This guy had sabotaged this whole play, guessing the Simons were involved with his wife and all. Oof! One pic only (others from fansite - ): Tomorrow then "rich but poor" or The richer they are, the harder they fall. Well, as far I know, something about the past, again.
