Well, we see a glimpse of A.J.'s college time when Rick was in Vietnam. He met Tommy van Adler then and they become best friends. Well, Rick and A.J. got invited to an anniversary where then later Tommy dies. Only one day later, they are hired by the parents to find out what caused the death. A.J. is not happy with the result and the widow Trish is making a move onto him, yet he refuses. In the end, A.J. drinks and gets drunk but there's big brother to the rescue. The scene was so nice when Rick took care of A.J., even as drunk as he was. Such scenes made me love the show. Anyway, after some digging, as their Mom had suggested, they find out that Trish is in love with Tommy's brother, Lance. Complicated family! They wanted to flee by plane but got stopped by the Power Wagon. And Tommy's mother greeted with Rick with several versions, meaning other letters like Dick, Nick and so on. Some pics again: Tomorrow a little flashback to the 1940ies again with Play it again, Simon or "I look into your eyes, Little one". Very funny! Or so I guess.

I remember this one too. Rick arriving at the bar to take A.J. home.

Not at the bar. That was S2. Here we are at A.J.'s home and Rick is just concerned.

Well, not quite. Oh, this episode is kinda complicated. We know that A.J. loves books and also novels by Adrian Harlowe. When he comes to the office, Rick had met a client about a lost book by this author but Rick doesn't want to go to L.A. and so A.J. goes alone. His Camaro went off and got lifted by a lady named Violet and also the famous Adrian Harlowe. Unfortunately, he got killed and A.J. is the main suspect. However, many familiar faces appear in very different roles: Rick as the author and bad guy, their Mom Cecilia as the waiting girl with cigars and all, Myron as the barkeeper, Abby as a girl working for the bad guy and one cop as a bodyguard. Phew, I wondered why A.J. only sees these guys but well, this episode was a bow to the Film Noir a bit. And as it turns out, A.J. only dreamed it but his dream girl, Violet, became also a reality. Some pics again: Well, only three episodes left of S8 and on Monday then the reunion movie. *sighs* Tomorrow then "Justice for a Yuppie" or First, let's kill all the lawyers. Well, let surprise me here.

Regarding yesterday's episode. It felt like S2E11 "Murder between the Lines", or similar. There A.J. was also dreaming. Oh my, Mom Cecilia has a new boyfriend named Doug McKenna who is a lawyer. Under bad circumstances, he and the Simons are working on opposite sides, because a law student was found dead - and it was once again all about money. The young student named Channing (Robert Estes = Rob Estes, Melrose Place, btw) uses all his given skills to get freed and the licenses of Rick and A.J. are in question. Of course, they are not happy with this development and demand answers. Their mother takes over and later, all three agree to do some undercover work for Doug which turns to be right and they catch the guy. At Cecilia's house, everything is back to normal - with the sons, the boyfriend. One pic (or two) again: How young Rob Estes looked back then but easy recognizable. Even if he used his full name. Tomorrow then "Photo Finished". Whatever that means.

Though the Simons swore off of divorcing cases, they stumble right into one as they are asked by a candidate named Tom Huntley to observe his wife. Rick doesn't want to take it since he's observing a woman from afar who could be his future wife. More later. Anyway, A.J. convinces his brother and so they are on the case. They watch the couple and the younger Simon gets to know the woman a bit better. A bit later, they witness the woman and her "lover" and a possible murder. As it turns out, Tom's wife was killed but not by whom they thought. With some digging in L.A., Rick and A.J. find an actress who is like a copy of the woman killed and she tells them all she knew. And well, they trick Tom to confess all. As for Rick and his woman. As she comes over to the brothers' office, Rick gets the shock of his life: She's pregnant!! One pic only: Tomorrow then last episode Simon says goodbye. And on Monday the reunion movie - and finito!
Unless I decide to watch it again.

Oh my. We start with Cecilia's birthday at A.J.'s house and she's telling about old girlfriends of her sons. They are not happy with this issue and soon switch to alcohol and cake. The next day a young woman named Elise storms in, saying she was sent here by Abby, a friend of hers. She wants to hire the Simons to find her ex-boyfriend named Terry Anderson before she gets married. Rick and A.J. dig out all their sources but unfortunately, a hired man of Terry listened to their talk. He follows them and hurt them very painfully, destroying their office as well. Yet after being awake again, the phone rings and Rick gets the needed information that the man had changed his name and is now a successful gallery manager. Elise's future husband is also tailing them and it gets even more complicated. To make it short: The Simons come to rescue the kidnapped couple but beat the bad guys too, even though being hurt again. At least, A.J. is. Rick offers to buy them lunch when the light goes out of the office and the brothers argue of who's been adopted. Good bye, Rick and A.J. Simon! One picture only again: Tomorrow then the Reunion movie "In Trouble again" as the last act of my re-watch! But with definitely more pics available!!

Oh well. We start like, most of the time, Rick in trouble in Scotsland and well, he flees to his little brother in Seattle - with a borrowed yacht and Mom on board. First cool thing was when A.J. did a double take to see his big brother in town and in court where he is attending a case. lol And quickly they're back to how it had been. Funny that their Mom knew all their secrets but for that she wouldn't be their Mom. A.J. and Janet are divorcing and battle over a dog named Toby. No comment. Well, nice that A.J. assigned himself as Rick's lawyer. He should have known what trouble they could get into. Special meeting with Downtown Brown. All three were shocked to see each other again. Yeah, well, when the yacht explodes and all believe Cecilia Simon to be dead, you could see how the brothers rely on each other. So sad when A.J. looked at the photos of all them together. At least the owner of the yacht, Paige (Darleen Carr again), is willing to help. After the initious trouble, like always, Rick and A.J. found their Mom healthy and all - and Rick is confronted with a mad Scotsman, and well, the Simons were not the Simons if they don't find a solution. At the end, it looked liked Simon & Simon could be put back in action. Some pics this time (upload and web): - my one upload Farewell, S&S - until I decide to watch you again. Because you're so funny!!!

I forgot the quotes of S5 to S8. I'll bring them up as soon as I can. Maybe tomorrow or Sunday, I think.
