Mum and I have gone on our Christmas Market trip to Winchester Hampshire today obviously. I will let everyone know how it went and share pictures that were taken then.

Cool. We had an okay day. It wasn't too cold thankfully though I did take my hat, scarf, and gloves just encase. We also took our shopping trolley but only bought three things really.
Winchester itself is a nice place. Not too big but smaller than Oxford and Cambridge I think.
The Xmas market itself i.e. the chalet huts were outside the Cathedral which we visited beforehand. That was lovely and well compared with Lincoln, Norwich, and Leicester Cathedrals who we've viewed previously.
My only gripe about the trip was not having enough time to see everything as we arrived around 11:40 am and had to be back at the coach by 4 pm but that doesn't mean we can't visit again if we holiday around there and spend a bit longer there then.
In terms of the Christmas market, I probably wouldn't do that a second time unless the current one we normally visit is canceled again but that's because the other one has more things happen there which I prefer obviously.

As mum said it was better than staying indoors naturally. We got back home in time and only missed 20 minutes of Strictly Come Dancing's final which we watched on tele.

Mum and I went on our Christmas By The River and Covent Garden Xmas Market trip today which was fun doing.
The weather was okay first but got cold as the day went on. Like the Winchester coach trip I had my hat, scarf, and gloves on obviously.
As always we started around Tower Hill and walked down to the London Eye browsing different hut stalls and taking pictures along the way. We didn't buy anything but they were nice seeing.
After eating we walked to Covent Garden and perused their Xmas Market and watched a couple of street performers there then made our way to Piccadilly Circus where I bought some L'Occitane for either mum's birthday next year or Christmas present way ahead and a couple of underwear from the Uniqlo shop up the road from there.
We finally took a boat back to North Greenwich from Westminster Pier and went home on the train and bus then.

London's always nice lit up at Christmas then.
There are lots of Xmas markets dotted around the capital in different parts which people normally visit.
Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park, the shopping parts of Oxford and Regent Street with the lights up Carnaby Street and Leicester Square are some of the most frequented Christmas places along with Trafalgar Square where the Xmas tree from Norway we get every year stands then Greenwich and Kingston Upon Thames Xmas Markets the latter of which I've not seen yet.

This February half term mum and I will visit St Paul's Cathedral in London either Weds or Thurs and view inside there which we haven't done before.
I've got free entry to it having saved up Tesco supermarket shopping vouchers and exchanged those for a code to use at the door to get inside the attraction whilst mum will have to pay herself which she doesn't mind doing.
If St Paul's interior architecture's anything like Winchester, Norwich, and Leicester Cathedrals it'll be right up my street.
Of course, I'll take lots of photo's permission permitting, and post those on Imgur before linking them here and on Facebook afterward as well.

I've only taken some from the outside because inside it was too expensive for me. But I can provide it still - after Katherine has posted hers.

That's where Charlies and Diana got married, back in 1981. Most of you were too young (or not yet born) to remember that.
But I remember it. Heck, I watched it live on television.

I remember the wedding Tim even though I was 1 year old at the time. It's also been used as film locations for certain movies like Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban.
The tv show Sherlock also used St Paul's as a location.
Looking at snippet photos I'm excited to see it but slightly concerned as well as you have to climb 1131 steps to get to the top which has three sections along the way. The Whispering Gallery that's closed currently because it's too narrow to have a lot of people go around that for social distancing reasons. Next is the Golden Gallery where you can go outside and see views of London. This area's wider so more people can do that and finally, the Stone Gallery very small narrowed outside at the top of the Cathedral.
A winding staircase is the only way to reach them and mum's not as mobile as she used to be. There's a lift that goes down to the crypt area where Lord Nelson and the Duke Of Wellington's graves are plus the lower Cathedral floor but not up the top because of the building's structure so it could mean only me going if I do and her waiting downstairs until I'm done of course.

I can't even say if I watched it back then, back in the GDR since I was only four years old. For me, churches in general are always interesting to see. As mentioned, I took some pics back in 2008, though only two.
