I don't know yet who will present Germany. There are some unknown artists around. Wonder though if ABBA might surprise us still. You never know here, though they denied it.

Here's a five-second snippet of the UK's Eurovision entry from Olly Alexander called 'Dizzy' then.

Yep, he's the one.
The full song should be released soon.
I will reserve my judgment until I've heard it all and see what result we get on the night of course.

Yes, but from the 20-second snippet, quite a lot of people are already dissing this apparently because it sounds like an EDM song which doesn't normally do well at Eurovision and also doesn't grab them within the short time limits the clip plays which a song should do if it wants to do well in the competition.

All 37 songs for this year's contest have been released with Georgia the last country bringing out their entry last week. Out of all of them my favourite is currently The Code by Nemo from Switzerland who is a non- binary artist that appeared on the second season of The Masked Singer Of Switzerland. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nemo_(rapper)The song is crazy from start to finish with Nemo singing many different genres although they're commonly known for rapping with most people viewing the video like WTF myself included grabbing me instantly which will stand them good in Sweden. I can see this doing well with juries possibly winning that and is second favourite with bookies to win momentarily. This song is my new phone ringtone then. I don't know what it is about Swiss male singers but that country certainly has good ones with Luca Hanni, Gjon's Tears, Remo Ferror, and now Nemo interesting me vocally. Our UK entry is called Dizzy that will be performed by Olly Alexander who was the lead singer from Years And Years. He's a massive Eurovision fan having grown up watching it with his family. Reception of Olly's being half and half so we'll see how he goes May time in Sweden. If we get on the left hand side of the board I will be happy. Anyway three changes happening within the contest this year are people will be able to vote from the start of the semi finals and final and not after all the performers have sung which had been done before in 2010 and 2011. The rest of the world will vote 24 hours before each live show because certain countries don't get to see Eurovision live like Australia for e.g. when that's broadcast around 5 am. This will not affect the overall scores though. And the big 5 will perform live in semi-finals 1 and 2 being counted with the other countries instead of preview clips from the Jury show the previous evening because the EBU want them to have better chances of winning seeing how the contest is expensive to host obviously.

Mmh, I wonder though how Sweden will celebrate their first win in 1974. That would be the only thing interesting me this year.

And that's why a lot of fans thought Tattoo won over Cha, Cha, Cha so that the contest would be held in Sweden to celebrate 50 years of ABBA winning in 1974 instead of accepting how the first song won over the fan favourite of course.
I felt sorry for the UK hosts who were trying to read out the results and people shouted Cha, Cha, Cha whilst that was going on.
Of course, said people went on social media afterwards bashing their opinion escalating the ongoing toxicity the contest has with them also saying how they keep the event alive through downloading or streaming the songs, buying the merch and tickets plus CDs as well which if those didn't happen Eurovision wouldn't be around so they should have the final say on who wins overall despite them not being music experts themselves.

So, today marks the 50th anniversary of ABBA winning the ESC in Brighton with "Waterloo". Happy anniversary!!! And a great career after it.

Yep. The occasion has been marked with a plaque that was unveiled below. It's crazy that happened a day before Mum's birthday which is today. After the tribute act we saw last night the BBC had their own ABBA show with performances and interviews viewing when we switched the TV on in our chalet.

Heard about it. Aw man, I wish I could watch a tribute show again but we may get several (long) documentations therefore. Soon, with the upcoming ESC, I think.
