And me, I used to watch it all the time, it was the magic show I watched before Charmed came around.

Yeah, that's true. Sabrina started two years before Charmed did.
As I said, one thing I liked about this show is that it didn't portray witches like if a Christian fundie had written them. I hated that about the comics, that witches were only supposed to do bad things and Hilda and Zelda dressed like a Puritan version of a witch (pointy hats and such).
Thankfully, the show brought Sabrina into the 1990's.

Thankfully, the show brought Sabrina into the 1990's. Yeah, I remember watching Sabrina first, and then, of course, saw Charmed very soon after. Well, I like that it isn't like the comics, and I've never read a single Sabrina comic, or Archie comic. So all I knew was what I saw on television, but I've read about them. Which makes me very curious how Hilda and Zelda are going to be written in this reboot. I wonder if Hilda will still be the fun aunt and similar to Wendy like on Witches of East End, and Zelda the serious aunt more like how Joanna was on Witches of East End. I only brought up Witches of East End because it's the only recent witch show to go by, and wasn't a comedy. Anyone here interested in rewatching some of the Sabrina Christmas themed episodes, and doing a discussion here. I know they made at least 6 of them. I particularly liked most of them.

Sure, I'd love to talk about them. Been a while since I saw them though.

Whoops!
Of course, she fixed it in the end.

I always enjoyed how things ended. Sabrina realizing that Harvey is her soulmate and the two of them riding off together. A nice happy ending.

I wonder who'll they'll cast as the new Sabrina.
Melissa Joan Hart left some big shoes to fill.

I don't know sometimes I like watching new actors or those not as big yet playing parts. It is like a clean slate. Sometimes they struck gold with new actors opposed to ones established.

That's true.
Hopefully, whomever they cast will be good in the role.

Yeah, they might do that. I hope they cast a great actor in the role. I also hope Hilda and Zelda are cast well. My dream casting would be Sarah Michelle Gellar as one of the aunts. I can't think of any actresses who are reaching 40 or in their 40s for the roles off the top of my head, or blondes.

So this will not be a sitcom, but more like Riverdale?
Don't know if I'll like it. Archie stuff is supposed to be funny.

It was nice Sabrina riding off with Harvey who reminded me of Henry from Charmed who was mortal and accepted Paige's magic and of course when Charmed aired Henry reminded me of Harvey slightly.
Sabrina was better off with someone who knew and accepted her completely including her magic.
