The TV show treated Harvey much better than the comics did. In the comics he remained a clueless idiot who never found out about Sabrina.
Thankfully, the show allowed his character to grow and, as you said, he accepted Sabrina for who she was.

Thankfully, the show allowed his character to grow and, as you said, he accepted Sabrina for who she was. Good thing they did allow him to grow. Too bad they didn't allow one of Sabrina's friends to learn her secret, and never did in the series. It would of been cool if one of them did find out and it stuck.

Roxie, Morgan, or both of them should have been brought into the secret. I mean they lived with Sabrina for the final season, after all.

Funny that I wished they brought back Libby, and her being written out after S3 was a silly decision, she should have continued at least until High School ended. If I was in charge, I would have brought her back in S5, and had her ended up in Sabrina's dorm. It would have been cool to see Libby grow as a character like Cordelia did on Buffy. She was a very popular character Libby. And the decision to remove her made no sense. The actress never wanted to leave if I recall. She was close with the cast.

Why did they remove her then? This happened when Sabrina was still on ABC, right?

Went back and rewatched some classic Sabrina on Dailymotion. Did the pilot and the first Halloween episode: 1x01: www.dailymotion.com/video/x6tqwlh1x05: www.dailymotion.com/video/x6wztjfNo matter how many stunts it tries to pull, Netflix's insult of a show will never sour my love for the classic 90s sitcom and its lovable characters and hilarious plots. I'll have to do a marathon some time.

For those of you who loved classic Sabrina, the 90's show is the one for you.
I'll have to take a look at some of those episodes myself.

For those of you who loved classic Sabrina, the 90's show is the one for you. I'll have to take a look at some of those episodes myself. I know you came into the series with the WB seasons, but you really need to check out the first three. It was always fun watching Sabrina trying to balance her high school and magical lives and see mean girl Libby get her just reward at the end of every episode. The Aunts and Salem always had fun side plots, too, which was an aspect that fell to the wayside in a big way in the later years. However, as I've said before, I don't recommend watching Season 4. It was the final ABC season and was mostly an awkward transition between 1-3 and 5-7. Valerie and Libby were both dropped for no reason, there were too many half-baked storylines that ended up going nowhere (Dreama, Brad, the Aunts' clock shop), and too much of the season was dominated by Sabrina/Harvey/Josh love triangle filler. I can see why the WB semi-rebooted the show in Season 5.

I'll be sure to do that, Betty.
Still, the WB era must look like Citizen Kane when compared to that thing on Netflix.
Duly noted.

Says something that a 20 year old sitcom is better than the modern version.
Bring on the 90's Sabrina.

This Tumblr comment is short, but concise: What kind of person, searching for material for an hot and sexy edgy teen drama where everything is the most serious thing ever, goes to Archie fucking Comics?
First Riverdale and now this Netflix mess…It'd be one thing if that show was an original property. It'd still be trash, but it wouldn't be dragging down the name of an already wonderful and nostalgic sitcom (and comic). *sigh* Why can't teen shows be fun and lighthearted anymore? Why does everything need to be dark/sexy/edgy?

The 90's sitcom was based on the character as she was in the original comics.
The Netflix thing is based on a new comic that started in 2011. Since I've never read this comic, I can't comment on it.
